Refund Policy




Returns


Our policy lasts 45 days. If you are returning an item, please create a return within 45 days of receiving your purchase, using our Return Portal. If 45 days have gone by since the date your purchase was delivered and received by you or someone in your party, unfortunately you will not be able to create a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted 
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, software, that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within two weeks of you sending your return back to us.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us via Customer Care.

Sale items 
If your item was on sale at the time of purchase and you want to re-order another item after a return. Please contact Lola Birch Customer Care and ask for a replacement code along with your previous order number. 

Exchanges for defective or damaged items only 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on a case by case basis. Exchanges are accepted 30 days after date received. We track the completion date when items are received to you through shipping companies we use to ship your items to you. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email. Alternative phone message service available. Please leave any details that are important to you. Also include return phone number you can be reached. Please allow 24-48 hrs before hearing from our Customer Care Team.


Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card code will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Please do not return to our warehouses or manufacturer. Your items will have a high chance of getting lost in the sorting process due to high volume shipping and receiving. We will not refund any items sent back to our warehouses if deemed lost. If you are returning furniture, please follow the return instructions that came with your order. Furniture purchases will have a separate return procedure. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

PLEASE RETURN VIA USPS ONLY. (United States Postal Service)

Using other carriers could result in your items being returned back to you due to an exclusive agreement we have with the USPS, costing you extra time and money.

As a best practice, always consider using a trackable shipping option or purchasing shipping insurance from USPS. Since we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, having a trackable package or insurance makes the return process much easier and stress free for everyone.
